Payment & Refund
The deposit should be made before the appointment, and the rest will be paid after the installation service via cash or bank transfer. Any issue related to the warranty will follow the terms of the warranty. All the refunds will be made via bank transfer within 10 working days. Any late fees must be paid in full before or at the time of service.
Change of Appointment Date, Time or Being Late
Due to our services being extremely time-consuming, we hope our client will be on time for the appointment. Any delay of more than 30 minutes will result in charges extra fee
Late Fees: If a customer arrives more than 30 minutes late, a £30 late charge will apply for every additional 15 minutes of delay.
Example:
0–30 minutes late → No charge
30–45 minutes late → £30 charge
45–60 minutes late → £60 charge, and so on.
We understand that plans can change. If you can no longer make it to your appointment or need to change the time, please let us know 48 hours in advance to avoid a charge of £50. However, our team is here to help, so please contact us if you need any help.
Before your appointment
Before attending your appointment, please ensure there are no previous stickers on the watch that were not provided by RX8. Also, please clean the watch to remove dirt or oil, as it might affect the lifespan of our stickers.
In addition, please be aware that if the watch has been polished many times before, it can also affect the lifespan of our stickers. It might also have a higher chance of peeling off during daily use.
Film Maintenance
Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning agents on the film. These can damage the protective coating and reduce its effectiveness.
Clean the film regularly using a mild soap or watch-specific cleaning solution. Gently wipe the surface with a soft, non-abrasive cloth to remove dirt, smudges, or fingerprints.
If your watch comes in contact with water, wipe it dry after. While RX8 Protection Films are water-resistant, prolonged exposure to moisture or submersion can compromise their adhesive properties.
Avoid exposing your watch to excessive heat or direct sunlight, as it may cause the film to warp or degrade over time.
Try to Avoid Scratches and Impact: While the RX8 Protection Films are designed to withstand everyday wear, it is recommended to avoid intentionally scratching or scraping the film with sharp objects.
Take precautions to prevent impacts or hard knocks to your watch, as these may cause the film to peel off or get damaged.
Replacement: Over time, the RX8 Protection Films may develop visible signs of wear or become less effective in protecting the watch surface. If you notice any significant damage or deterioration, it is advisable to replace the film.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions or consult our team for the replacement of the protection film.
Remember that RX8 Watch Protection Films are designed to provide an additional layer of defence for your watch, but they cannot guarantee complete immunity against all types of damage. Proper care and maintenance, along with responsible usage, will help maximise the lifespan and performance of the protection films.
Warranty
Free Services Warranty - 14 days
The free services warranty covers any issues related to the installation or performance of the RX8 Watch Protection Films within the initial 14 days after the date of purchase. If you encounter any problems during this period, such as peeling, bubbling, or improper adhesion, please contact our customer support team. Our team will assess the issue and, if deemed necessary, arrange for the necessary services to rectify the problem at no additional cost to you.
Manufacturing Issues Warranty - 3 months
The manufacturing issues warranty covers any defects or faults in the RX8 Watch Protection Films that arise from the manufacturing process. This warranty is valid for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase. If you experience any issues directly related to the manufacturing of the protection films, such as delamination or material defects, please reach out to our customer support team. Our team will evaluate the situation and provide appropriate solutions, which may include the replacement of the protection film.
Please Note
For valid warranty claims registered within 14 days of purchase, RX-8 will replace films free of charge.
After 14 days and within 3 months from purchase, RX-8 will cover material costs, but a minimum labour cost of £50 will be charged.
Warranty claims are valid where they relate to manufacturing issues, such as your watch protection sticker losing its ability to adhere to the watch. However, Wear and Tear, discolouration and physical damage to the sticker are not covered by warranty.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the RX8 Watch Protection Films and is non-transferable.
The warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper installation, misuse, accidents, negligence, or any other factors beyond the control of the manufacturer.
Any modifications or alterations made to the protection films will void the warranty.
